Bike Rodeos/Safe Riding

We welcome the opportunity to host bicycling and pedestrian safety events in the community throughout the year.  Our 40+ members and volunteers reach over 2000 kids/ families per year at various venues hosting bike rodeos, and pedestrian safety fun days.  We traditionally have partnered with non-profits who work with kids for these events, but occasionally also create new events in the community.  We bring a trailer with bikes and repair facility, set up a course and teach the basics of biking and walking safety.  We focus on helmet fitting, ABC Quick Check, signals and riding skills for the bike riding events, but we can vary the riding for beginner or advanced riders depending on the needs of the organization sponsoring the event.  We can also provide limited bike repair.  Some of the more noteworthy partners for these training events are Run for Education, Make a Difference Day co-sponsored with Nevada Job Corps, the Give Kids a Boost Fair in Sun Valley and the scout events that are hosted by a scout troop with assistance from our senior techs.  Contact us if you'd like an event for your organization.
