Burning Man Bike Sales
Burners interested in reserving bikes for Burning Man look no further! We can provide you a steady steed for the Burning Man week at a small price.  All proceeds from our Burning Man Bike Sales support our programs for kids in the community.   All bikes are playa-ready, and are your basic fat-tire ride.  For more details about this program, click on the link below.
Bike Swaps
We hold bike swaps in the community to supplement our bike sales at the shop.  All proceeds from these events go to support our bicycling education programs, and other programs supported through our club.  Any bikes or parts not collected at the close of the sale  become the property of our Kiwanis Bike Program, and a donation receipt is available for customers on request.  At these events, we also have limited bike repair and free safety checks available for people who bike in for the swap.

Our annual Biggest Little Bike Swap and Sale event has been held for almost 10 years. Every year, the swap is held on the first Saturday in May. Bring your bike/parts for consignment to our Kiwanis Activity Center and Bike Program facility or shop our selection. If the bike or parts are sold, 80% goes to the seller and 20% goes towards our programs helping kids. This swap has been a tradition since our first event at Idlewild in 2014.

Bike Sales

Shop Sales
We sell bikes in our shop throughout the year.  Sales of bikes for kids and adults help support our education and outreach programs.  We normally have a variety of adult mountain and road bikes, a few cruisers, and lots of kids bikes.  Donation bikes are also available on the shop floor so that agency representatives can come in and "shop" for bikes for their recipients. Prices range from $10 for a small bike for a child to $500 or more for a good bike for an adult.  We depend on community donations, so our selection varies constantly -- so come by the shop and see what we have.   The bikes are refurbished by our volunteers to help them learn about bike mechanics, but final check is by one of our senior technicians before the bikes are available for sale.
Bike Donations
Schools and non-profit organizations may come to the shop to get up to 4 bikes per quarter for their programs.  Bikes should be picked up for distribution by representatives from the organization, or the client must come with a signed letter on letterhead from the organization making the request.  All bikes are donated with a helmet for the recipient.  Contact us for more information about this program.
