Burning Man 2026 Bikes
Picture

ADVANCED ONLINE SALES FOR 2026 ARE NOW OPEN

If you have  reserved a bike, we promise to have one at our shop for you when you arrive.
Please make sure you bring a printout of your PayPal purchase confirmation with you when you collect your bike.  Reserve your bike(s) for $100 per bike (below).
All reserved bikes must be picked up at our shop at 5305 Mill Street., Reno.  You can give your receipt to someone else to have them pick up your bike for you, but you need to have it to get your bike.

IMPORTANT: Once reservations are closed, we can no longer make refunds, but you can arrange to sell the reservation to someone else. Forward your reservation to them to bring in when they come to get their bike.

RESERVED BIKES CAN ONLY BE COLLECTED AT OUR SHOP AT 5305 MILL STREET, RENO. We don't deliver to the playa, or to other locations.
Burning Man Bikes On-Site Sales

We will have a limited selection of  extra Burning Man bikes available for walk-in purchase when you arrive in Reno. These are available on a first come, first served basis as long as supplies last. In the past 10 years we have never run out of bikes though. Our Burning Man bikes sold on-site are $110 and up and are the same quality as those reserved online. We cannot make any promises about availability, but if we do run out of Burning Man bikes, we have a large selection of more expensive bikes from $110 and up.
Burning Man Bike Sales General Information

The Kiwanis Bike Program and our other service programs for children are supported through bike sales and donations. When you buy a bike from us for Burning Man, you contribute to our programs including teaching kids about bike riding, safe walking and bike repair throughout the year. It also supports donations of over 500 bikes per year to local schools and nonprofits. Without Burning Man our programs would be much smaller!

We will be open daily 9am – 9pm for Burning Man bikes sales from August 26th through to August 31st. Before and after this date we will be on normal shop opening hours. Please call if you need to arrange pick up outside of these hours (for reserved bikes only), but please note we cannot be available 24/7 for pickup! We will try to accommodate your request if possible.
In addition to bikes, we will have a limited number of baskets, locks, lights, cloth seat covers and other bike parts such as tubes, etc. Sorry no El-wire this year.
Burning Man Bike Returns

We ask that you return your bike as a donation to Reno Bike Project at 216 E. Fourth Street, Reno, so they can refurbish and recycle it for next year! You have purchased the bike, so you don’t need to return it to us, however ...  Whatever you do, PLEASE don’t leave it on the playa.

Sadly, we find that we are losing our facility and need to downsize our programs next year.  So we can't continue to do Burning Man Bike Sales after this year.
Trash, Food, Water and other Supplies

We are excited once again to announce Scout Troop 1847 will again be conducting our annual after burn trash, recycling and gear fundraiser. Burning Man attendees will have a one stop drop and go for trash and recycling disposal and various food, camping and other items. We will be located on Mill Street just west of Kiwanis Bikes. Scout Troop 1847 will be accepting bagged trash for an in-kind donation of $10 a bag, as well as recycling for glass & plastic bottles, cans and cardboard. In service to our local community, Troop 1847 will gladly accept your un-used food items, camping items and other items on a case by case basis. This supports local charitable organizations and helps keep our community clean.
