Burning Man Bikes Online Reservations

Bike reservations for 2025 are $90 per bike. We have 400 Burning man bikes available for reservation this year and reservations will automatically close when we hit that number, so don’t wait too long …
Your PayPal receipt is your confirmation, so print it out and bring it with you when you come to pick up your bike(s). Hit the “Add to Cart” button below to start your reservation.

If your reserve a bike, we promise you to have one at our shop for you when you arrive.
All reserved bikes must be picked up at our shop at 5305 Mill Street., Reno.  You can give your receipt to someone else to have them pick up your bike for you, but you need to have it to get your bike.

IMPORTANT: Once reservations are closed, we can no longer make refunds, but you can arrange to sell the reservation to someone else, forward your reservation to them to bring in when they come to get their bike.

RESERVED BIKES CAN ONLY BE COLLECTED AT OUR SHOP AT 5305 MILL STREET, RENO. We don't deliver to the playa, or to other locations.
Burning Man Bikes On-Site Sales

We will have a selection of Burning Man bikes available for walk-in purchase when you arrive in Reno. These are available on a first come, first served basis as long as supplies last. In the past 10 years we have never run out of bikes though. Our Burning Man bikes sold on-site are $100 and are the same quality as those reserved online. We cannot make any promises about availability, but if we do run out of Burning Man bikes, we have a large selection of more expensive bikes from $120 and up.
Burning Man Bike Sales General Information

The Kiwanis Bike Program and our other service programs for children are supported through bike sales and donations. When you buy a bike from us for Burning Man, you contribute to our programs including teaching kids about bike riding, safe walking and bike  repair throughout the year. It also supports donations of over 500 bikes per year to local schools and nonprofits. Without Burning Man our programs would be much smaller!

We will be open daily 9am – 9pm for Burning Man bikes sales from August 22nd through to August 27th. Before and after this date we will be on normal shop opening hours. Please call if you need to arrange pick up outside of these hours (for reserved bikes only), but please note we cannot be available 24/7 for pickup! We will try to accommodate your request if possible.
In addition to bikes, we will have a limited number of baskets, locks, lights, cloth seat covers and other bike parts such as tubes, etc. Sorry no El-wire this year.
Burning Man Bike Returns

We ask that you return your bike as a donation to us at 5305 Mill Street, Reno, so we can refurbish and recycle it for next year! You have purchased the bike, so you don’t need to return it to us, however if you return or recycle it somewhere else, we can’t reuse it and we won’t be able to reserve as many bikes next year….  Your help is crucial!!!! Whatever you do, PLEASE don’t leave it on the playa.

We will have extended hours for drop-off from August 31st through to September 4th. If we are closed, there’s a bike rack out front where you can leave your bike.

Trash, Food, Water and other Supplies

A Scout Troop 1847 will be set up just west of our shop on Mill Street and will be taking trash, unopened and non-perishable food items, water and camping gear. Troop 1847 will be accepting an in-kind donation of $10 per bag of trash, as well as recycling for glass, plastic bottles, cans and cardboard. Unused food items and camping gear will be taken on a case by case basis.
