Kiwanis Bikes is growing! We've moved to a new, larger facility with lots of room to grow our programs, our bike sales, and the fun activities we do in the community.

New location: 2500 Valley Road Unit A
To find us go on I-80 to Wells Avenue exit, then go north to Sadlier, turn left (west) on Sadlier to Valley Road. Then go north on Valley Road to the last building on the east side just before Enterprise Road. We're on the west side (closest to the high mountains) of the building with a blue roof. Call 775-846-7146 for directions if you don't find us.

Winter Shop Hours:
Wed 2pm - 8pm (repair hours 5:30- 8:00 kids)
Thurs 2pm - 8pm (repair hours 6:00 - 8:00 adults)
Friday 2pm - 6pm
Saturday 2pm - 6pm (repair hours 2-5 kids)

Directions to our shop

The Kiwanis Club of Downtown Sparks sponsors an ongoing program for bike repair, safe riding practices and recycling in our bike shop. It is home to ongoing clinics for youth organizations, refurbishing of bikes for at risk youth in our community and bike sales of a limited number of refurbished bikes. These sales support our programs, and go to support donation of bikes to youth in the community. Our programs could not exist without donations of bikes from our community.

Proceeds from all bikes sold are used to support our education programs.

Volunteer to Help the Bike Program

Volunteers are needed for all aspects of our programs. If you like to repair bikes, or would like to learn, you can wrench with us during shop hours or at special events. If you like to teach kids, or have a truck to transport bikes, or if you just like to learn more, click here and submit a form describing your interests.
