Donate your bike to support kids in our community
Bikes can be donated for us either at our shop (map link) during work hours, or at any fire station in Washoe County (except Incline Village). Thanks to the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (Washoe County, Reno and Sparks Fire Departments) we are able to accept your bikes at their stations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have volunteers who go to the stations on a regular basis to pick up the bikes and deliver them for repair to the Stewart Conservation Camp in Carson City or to our shop on Comstock Drive.
You can also bring your bikes to Reno Clean and Green in October or April, or to Waste Management where they collect them for us as well. And periodically we do bike drives in partnership with businesses or organizations in the community. Watch for information about these upcoming events in the spring.

Instructions for 2605 Comstock Drive/ bike pickup
We're at 2605 Comstock Drive. Take 395 north to I-80 west, then I-80 west to Virginia Street. You go north on Virginia Street from I-80 past the campus. The first light after Lawlor Event Center (big round building just north of the parking garage) is the intersection of Comstock on the east and Sierra on the west (same street two names). Turn right/ east on Comstock and you'll immediately turn north around a bend, pass the parking lots at the north end of campus, go under a bridge, and then continue over a railroad track. Just after that the Comstock Storage building is on the left side and we're on the east end of the building. Right now we don't have signs until they get through repairing the building, but there will either be a big white pickup with a blue Kiwanis Bikes sign on the side, or a small green Subaru Outback with a bike rack on the back. My cell is 775-846-7146 if you get lost or want to check. If you can tell me about when you plan to be there, I'll be sure to be there waiting for you. Total distance from the airport is less than 10 miles and from the exit on I-80 is less than 5 miles.
